Web ChangesThis is our first attempt at a company web site. We'll try to update it every few weeks and post changes on this page. In the near future, we hope to add: more details about some of our projects with specific examples of analytical and cartographic techniques used; examples of our award-winning maps in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format, so they can be panned and zoomed without losing detail; and hyperlinks to other good GIS sites along with some helpful hints on obtaining off-the-shelf GIS data for the Pacific Northwest. Any suggestions you have regarding web site changes would be appreciate. Y2K ComplianceWe're pleased to inform you that NWGIS is Y2K compliant! We can all count past 1999 and we fully intend to let the year expire without incident. For the purists, we're also well aware that the millenium doesn't really end until December 31, 2000, but we'll be participating in the big celebration on New Year's Eve 1999 along with everyone else. |
