Photography is a fairly recent interest of mine, but Ive been fortunate to acquire a few nice pictures in spite of my limited experience. About two years ago, I made a substantial investment in Nikon N70 35mm SLR with three lenses, flash, filters, etc. To my wifes chagrin, I then decided about a year ago that what I really needed was a digital camera. I bought an Olympus C-2020 Zoom, which Ive been quite happy with, and recouped some of my investment in the Nikon system by selling it on eBay. The purpose of this web page is to share some of my best images. As you can see from the thumbnails below, another one of my interests is dance, and a lot of my photographic efforts have focused on dance-related subjects. My interest in dance is largely attributable to my daughter, Megan, the subject of two of my pictures, who has been taking ballet and performing most of her life. (I may have a separate web page on dance in the future.) I hope you enjoy my images. Some of them are standard sizes and make a nice background for Windows. In particular, I would recommend the digicam images on the first row and the scanned photo of the Venice canal, which are favorites of my friends and family. The Venice canal is the only image that was scanned from the negative with a friend's film scanner. Youre welcome to use these images as you like, but please dont use them commercially disseminate them to others without my permission. Thank you for your interest.
